Picton bypass should be “top of the list”

A Picton by-pass has been talked about for years; but the recent bushfires has made it a critical piece of infrastructure that’s needed now rather than later and more voices are joining in the chant.

The NSW government has even realised and is assessing options “invested $3 million for planning and investigations for a bypass of Picton town centre”.

Joan Brown (pictured right) a long-time Picton resident and one time Wollondilly councillor – is one of many voices calling for a by-pass to be built and the recent bushfires only highlighted how an important piece of infrastructure it is.
